Investment Marketing Manager

Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

• The purpose of the role is to support investment marketing. Working in a highly collaborative environment, interacting closely with investment teams and distribution to create compelling product stories.
• The role will report to our CEO (RBC GAM) and also have a dotted line to our Marketing Director (BlueBay Asset Management)
• The position will also lead marketing efforts around new product launches and new investment capabilities

What will you do?

• Plan and deliver activity that is adapted to support highly targeted audiences across institutional investors and wholesale audiences
• In conjunction with marketing colleagues, establish, write and produce effective, compelling, and professional product marketing materials, by delivering high quality, well-articulated and engaging content
• Align activity to business and sales strategy to support business growth
• Where relevant, support regional marketing plans to help deliver investment positioning for specific audiences e.g. events, written content
• Support the production of relevant content across media channels, including written, visual, podcast/video
• Partner with digital team members to maximise content across digital channels, including web, email, and social
• Govern consistency of messaging across product marketing materials
• Review, initiate, and lead the production process of relevant product collateral
• Contribute to the production of corporate marketing content

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• Previous relevant experience in product marketing in the asset management industry
• Strong experience in equity marketing
• Ability to process information quickly, write and develop content
• Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills
• Project and process management skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects and multitask
• Understanding of financial services (asset management and capital markets)
• Experience working with, and managing third-party supplier/agency relationships
• Additional language proficiency is a bonus
