Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in a strategy or management consulting role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in consulting, delivering advisory services, extended workforce, and vendor management.
• Experience in program management and ability to manage large, complex programs and drive change.
• Ability to build effective and productive relationships across the business and work with accountability and integrity.
• Ability to effectively engage with leadership, facilitate discussions about complex topics, influence, and reach agreements.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and process a high amount of data to drive business strategies and decisions.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, organizational, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

About the job

The Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team manages end-to-end management of Google’s Extended Workforce. The xWS team is responsible for the strategy, governance, and operations across our contingent workforce. Our team makes it easy for Google managers to engage with the extended workforce, provide training, and develop standards and guidelines to minimize Google’s risk by leveraging data and insights to assist with planning and strategy for engagements. We provide processes, tools, and know-how to support Googlers through the lifecycle of extended workforce engagements, so our businesses can make informed decisions to put the right talent in the right locations.

In this role, you will lead the regional xWS India team to advise Google's regional leadership in optimizing and maturing their extended workforce while minimizing risk to Google. The team is responsible for enabling and advancing Google’s vendor operations by advising on and supporting strategy, transitions, and setting up operations.

You will ensure that all stakeholders know the risks inherent in your regions and will be responsible for delivering on effective vendor facility infrastructure to meet demand. You will work with product and functional team stakeholders to identify systemic risks and drive programmatic change across the regions.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal clients to define a global extended workforce plan and strategy.
• Support internal partners in building and maturing organizational capabilities for extended workforce strategy, planning, governance, operational management, shared services, and management organizations.
• Manage complex cross-functional programs and remain knowledgeable about multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Coordinate project meetings, draft agendas, develop presentation materials, coordinate with internal stakeholders on materials, and track decisions, outcomes, and follow-up action items.
• Represent Google’s values and culture across all business areas and promote a positive work environment.
