Guild is hiring a Learning Experience Designer in the Learning & Organizational Development Department to help build a robust learning and development portfolio. This role leads the design and development of learning solutions for a multi-tiered leader and manager program as well as organization-wide development with the goal of enabling a learning foundation with structure and strategy that is scalable and sustainable..

A successful candidate will use innovative instructional design and experience design methodologies to create innovative learning experiences, while ensuring all solutions are fully inclusive and providing an impactful experience for a diverse set of learners..

The ideal candidate is a proven subject matter expert on leader, manager, and organization-wide development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives, and performance-driven learning science with the principles of human-centered design, as well as social and behavioral psychology standards and practices. As a Learning Experience Designer you will:

  • Design innovative and modern learning experiences using a variety of mediums. This may include eLearning, virtual instructor-led training, videos, job aids, gamification, and more.
  • Champion the learning design efforts to create engaging learning activities and compelling courses within robust training programs that are a brand differentiator.
  • Pivot to the ever changing needs of the business while creating agile solutions that can be easily adjusted as the company evolves.
  • Uphold defined learning design standards and instructional design models to provide a consistent learning experience and accurately measure our impact.
  • Collaborate, communicate, and present cross-functionally with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and learners to design learning and performance needs
  • Project manage the design and delivery of the learning experiences

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

Required Competencies

  • 5+ years instructional or learning design experience in a corporate setting, with a proven track record of creating DE&I focused initiatives. Similar relevant experience will be considered.
  • 2+ years experience creating content on leadership and management topics.
  • Exceptional learning content creation skills with a history of success driving measurable results from innovative learning solutions.
  • Extensive experience and proficiency with eLearning design tools, video editing tools, and LMS systems.
  • Broad subject matter expertise in modern learning design methodologies and adult-learning best practices, including writing effective learning objectives and writing effective content that resonates with learners.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, thriving in an ever-changing, high-growth, environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively while under pressure - balancing confidence, humility, and diplomacy.

Preferred Competencies

  • Experience in Articulate 360 systems.
  • Knowledge of Kirkpatrick’s four levels of training evaluation.
  • Experience leading or supporting vendor relationship management.
  • A balance of meticulous execution and big picture thinking.
  • A learners mindset: a desire to learn, grow, and evolve in a fast-paced environment.

    We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Compensation for this role is $55-$75 per hour.
