The team Our Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, and efficient operations across DocuSign. The team consists of Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Revenue Operations, Investor Relations, and Business Operations. The Finance team partners across all organizations in DocuSign to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of our operational plans.

This positionAs part of the Innovation & Technology Strategic Finance team, this person will help our finance business partnering efforts in supporting the Product Development organization. Activities will include performing financial analysis and modeling, designing and preparing financial plans and budgets, as well as analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial information to management. The position requires a well-rounded individual who has a demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high growth environment, as well as strong business partner management skills. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, a strong business acumen, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Director, FP&A and is designated Flex. Responsibilities

• Maintain, track and manage headcount for the Product Development organization
• Partner with the business to develop forecasts and ensure spend is in accordance with budgets while building a deep understanding of the business to help drive cost savings and efficiency improvements
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting; analyzing financial results, synthesizing key trends, and communicating insights to various stakeholders
• Support month-end close efforts including reviewing accruals and presenting monthly variance analysis
• Highlight opportunities proactively for process improvements
• Perform ad-hoc analyses on strategic projects and guidance on budget/forecast

Basic qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business, Finance or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or related work

Preferred qualifications

• Proficient in Excel, Google Suite, PC
• Some experience in financial planning; emphasis on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial modeling with relevant work experience as an FP&A business partner
• Experience with Adaptive Insights, Netsuite or Oracle
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated collaboration and proactive consultation skills. Positive can-do attitude in approaching complex problems.
• Ability to influence leadership through clear presentation and communication of complex data analysis.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
