GitHub is changing the way the world builds software, and we want you to help build GitHub!
npm is a critical part of the JavaScript world. The work of the npm team over the last 10+ years, and the contributions of hundreds of thousands of open source developers and maintainers, has made npm home to over 1.7 million packages with 118 billion downloads a month. It is used by roughly 12 million developers and all of this is growing at a rate that ensures these massive numbers will seem small in a few years. Together, this community has helped JavaScript become the largest developer ecosystem in the world. As a part of GitHub we continue to scale npm to meet the needs of the fast-growing JavaScript community.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to work across design and engineering to make sure npm continues to be the registry of choice for individual developers as well as organizations.
We expect that you come from a product or technical background and have a deep understanding of how great product experiences are shipped, as well as a passion for developers.
This role can be in Indian time zone or Europe as well and will be permanently remote. Eventually, some travel will be required for team and customer meetings, based on COVID guidelines.
