Role: PHP Lead Developer

Cognizant is looking for a PHP Lead Developer in developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the “team” and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.

You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Deliverables:

• 5+ years of experience as a NodeJS developer
• 5+ years working with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony.
• Experience developing REST APIs
• Knowledge of Angular11+, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, open-source libraries
• Experience working with NoSql databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra
• Unit test framework PHPUnit, JEST
• Knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, APIGEE is plus
• Experience developing scalable and performant web applications is a huge plus
• Experience leading a team of developer to deliver on technology commitments
• Experience working with the Product Team and fine tuning user stories and features
• Experience mentoring small teams, help motivate and deliver best in class technology solutions
