Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or advertising
  • Experience in writing marketing communications

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of scalable marketing technologies, processes, and best practices (e.g. email service providers, marketing automation, triggered messages, A/B Testing)
  • Ability to use data, metrics, and business knowledge to measure impact and drive business of web publishers using scaled channels (e.g. email, webinar, etc.)
  • Ability to craft narratives and distill messaging to be crisp, succinct, and clear
  • Ability to manage and coordinate projects that span multiple locations
  • Excellent influencing, written and verbal communication skills, including presentation writing and delivery across a wide range of audiences
  • Excellent organizational skills

The Online Partnerships Group (OPG) uses our portfolio of product solutions, including AdSense and Google Marketing Platform tools, to help online publishers grow their businesses. You'll provide creative, industry-leading online advertising solutions for publishers and developers and identify new opportunities. Some of the largest publishers on the web rely on our products and we're always trying to exceed their expectations and strengthen our long-term partner relationships. We help grow Google's business with the largest online publishers and provide account management for users of AdSense, Google Ad Manager and more.

This is a global role focussing on educating and growing web publishers using scaled marketing. As a Product Marketing Communications Specialist, you will work with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to identify the opportunity for potential topics and build the strategy to share content at scale. You'll define the priority areas and create content and messaging for the execution at scale by channel owners. You will help grow Google's business with web publishers and provide education for Google online advertising product users.

In this role, you will learn in-depth insights on digital advertising, how to lead cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration, and most importantly how to grow together with our partners. You are a well-rounded, strong performer who can be a key contributor in a fast-paced growth environment.

In return, our partners provide great content for our products, and they syndicate Google products to enhance their sites and apps. Global Partnerships team members expand and support these relationships by continually finding new opportunities and solving technical problems for our partners. The wider Global Partnerships team includes a variety of different organizations, including CorpDev, Emerging Business Development, Strategy and Operations, Google for Startups, Area 120 and our Display Advertising Business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a business focused narrative and content strategy for driving product adoption.
  • Drive engagement and product adoption for existing and potential web publishers for Ad Manager by leading development of targeted, high impact content and execution of scalable email campaigns.
  • Develop and execute the measurement of Key Performance Indicators for scalable communications to comprehend return on investment and potential improvement of our scaled channels in conjunction with an analyst.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners, including sales, marketing, creative and production agencies, public relations, and product as needed to build support for your projects.
  • Be a thought leader on the online publisher market, industry trends, and strategy.
