What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a talented, experienced and passionate Content Marketer to inspire money-smart kids with engaging and informative content for parents and kids on our website and across our social channels.

The Manager, Content Marketing will leverage data & insights to lead and execute on our content strategy. As a core member of the team, the successful candidate will work closely with the marketing team to deliver for this venture and will collaborate with venture product leads on plans, budgets and creative execution.

At Mydoh, we understand the importance of financial literacy and believe that developing good money habits should start early – our product gives children the opportunity to learn money management first-hand and build confidence in their financial skills

We are a strong cross-functional team striving to deliver a seamless impactful experience to families that is robust and scalable behind-the-scenes.

What you will do

  • Leverage Mydoh’s brand vision and existing content strategy to produce educational articles, guides and videos that establish Mydoh as a leader in the youth financial literacy space.
  • Ensure that all content incorporates SEO best practices and that our content calendar is aligned with our SEO strategy.
  • Partner with other organizations, influencers and bloggers to build relevant content & help Mydoh and increase organic traffic and acquisition goals.
  • Source, brief, and manage writers, industry experts, content creators & other production resources. This includes working with venture marketers, the marketing COE, venture designers & the Strategic Design team to deliver on production of content; approving, editing & revising content before posting to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Establish KPIs, deliver reporting and optimization of all organic social & content activity

What do you need to succeed?

  • A relevant post-secondary degree or certificate in a related field e.g. journalism, English, English literature, copywriting, marketing, business etc.
  • 3–5 years of demonstrated content marketing experience – building authentic engagement with brands.
  • Writing and communications experience (including editing, in-depth theme research for content development, SEO).
  • CMS publishing experience with a provider like Webflow, WordPress etc.
  • Previously used tools like Google Analytics or Hotjar to evaluate the success of content and evolve it based on the data.
  • Knowledge of keyword research & related SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Conductor, Bright Edge). Experience with backlink building strategies (blogger outreach, backlink acquisition).
  • Understanding & experience amplifying content through all social media platforms (e.g. YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest)
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders to get projects done from start to finish.
