The Freemium R&D team oversees the entire user journey on Spotify and ensures we engage with people in innovative ways, every step of the way. Our team grows Spotify’s audience by finding future listeners around the world and delivering the right value to them, at the right time. With research, product development, product design, engineering, and marketing all collaborating in one organization, we’re able to quickly create meaningful features and services for millions of people around the world, resulting in joyful, long-lasting relationships with Spotify. Spotify is seeking a Senior Product Manager to focus on conversion of our users to our Premium products. You will work closely with an engineering team, designers and product insights colleagues to define and implement our conversion strategy; helping users experience, understand and choose to purchase a Premium subscription.
Who you are
- You're an experienced Senior Product Manager with data driven product development and technical background, with previous experience working on e-commerce conversion.
- You are highly collaborative and able to produce simple solutions to meet a set of different needs.
- You can influence and partner effectively across all levels of an organisation, and regularly use these skills to improve the work going on around you.
- You have experience in crafting product requirements based on user research and data.
- You are experienced with working with agile development teams.
- You care about learning and trying out new product management techniques.
What you'll do
- Set the vision for Premium conversion based on deeply understanding user and business needs.
- Identify step-change improvements to drive subscriber growth, working across multiple engineering and business teams to define and deliver a coherent, holistic conversion roadmap.
- Work across multiple consumer platforms to understand how to increase conversion across Spotify experiences
- Understand regional requirements and build solutions that support localisation
- Guide how new product types can be best incorporated into the customer experience
