About the Team Fanatics Authentic provides the world’s largest selection of licensed sports memorabilia and collectibles! Our division is licensed by all the major professional sports leagues, player and team associations, and universities that supply 100% genuine product authentication to our fans. We offer once-in-a-lifetime “Fanatics Exclusive Athlete” event experiences providing fans the opportunity to interact with their favorite athletes at a Meet-and-Greet, Watch Party, Suite Experience, or Chalk Talk/ Q&A session. Our Game-Used partnerships have given us the ability to create the most exclusive products such as player and team gear directly from the arena or field, playing surfaces, and actual equipment. I. Primary Purpose The Associate Auctions Manager will report to the Fanatics Authentic Product and Licensing department and will support with driving the overall Auctions business unit. This role will have a major focus on product merchandising and planning and will require a candidate with a strong pulse on sports/product knowledge as well as effective organizational and communication skills to coordinate each program launch. II.Duties and Responsibilities • Support/drive ideation of Auctions program themes • Support/drive product selection process for each program launch • Manage organization and maintenance of merchandise line plans per program launch • Work closely with Product & Licensing and Product Merchandising teams for Auctions-specific product procurement and product set-up • Coordinate regularly with other cross-functional departments on marketing, creative, and operational needs • Assist with data processing and reporting for financial analysis and business planning • Assist with maintenance of product information across various databases • Support with ongoing merchandise and site operations tasks in coordination with Auctions Managers • Liaise with external vendors and partners as needed • Collaborate with peers to share and adopt best practice e-commerce procedures • Other duties as needed or required III. Education and Experience Requirements • Strong pulse on sports world/product as they directly impact merchandise/marketing • Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, sports management, or related field • 1-2+ years of experience in e-commerce, merchandising, or sports management a plus • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically as it relates to Auctions merchandising and the overall business segment • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel • Ability to interpret data to make apt merchandising decisions • Excellent organizational and time management skills as programs launch across leagues • Keen attention to detail with data management and merch plan maintenance • Strong verbal and written communication skills with all employee levels • Ability to learn technology tools and processes quickly • Willingness to take on tasks large and small from strategy development through execution • Ability to independently organize and prioritize broad workload to meet deadlines • Result-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency • Exceptional work ethic with the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines Tryouts are open at Fanatics!
