Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, or equivalent experience in a technology/media company
  • Experience in team management for full time employees, temporary workers, and/or vendors.
  • Stakeholder management experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing vendor programs and identifying process improvements.
  • Experience with improving business growth processes.
  • Knowledge of our seller tools and workflows with experience working in sales, global partnerships, or platforms.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and prioritize business needs or problems and recognize clear solutions to those problems.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation writing and delivery to both technical and business stakeholders.

Central Assignments and Technical Services (CATS) is a go-to-market team with a mission to shape the seller’s tool landscape to power effective sales operations. CATS delivers support services to buy-side sellers in a fast paced, complex environment, encompassing numerous tools and evolving processes. The team spans critical business segments, central assignments, account-to-company, agency mapping, team-to-company assignments, and Technical Services, troubleshooting support for a wide range of internal anchor tools. We achieve service excellence through operational excellence, quality frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance products and services to enable sellers to bring the best of Google to our customers. As a Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for a team of employee's, and for vendor enablement functions including training, quality assurance, and process optimization. You will work directly with a myriad of stakeholders, such as vendor partners, Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Global Product Leads to support the design, launch, and maintenance of product and program support for large customer sales (LCS) and sellers, You will look for opportunities to continuously evolve processes, products, and the vendor program and ensure the team and our agents have the right knowledge, skills, and process to provide service to our Sellers.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $143,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
*Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of employees, temporary workers, and vendors who are the subject matter experts to seller anchor tools and processes pertaining to LCS and cross-functional partners.
  • Manage and support the team through troubleshooting seller inquiries and escalations across a broad spectrum of seller tools and supporting the triage bugs on behalf of sellers.
  • Maintain and build on current cross-functional engagement models and processes to deliver insightful, actionable feedback to enhance products and processes.
  • Articulate and prioritize business needs clearly to key stakeholders and work with these teams to design, develop, and launch solutions. Oversee change management with sales, go-to-market, and vendor agents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders as a key contributor to Global Sales Tools, Data Platform, and Customer Engineering projects.
