Job Description
The Equifax Global Consumer Solutions’ Product Architecture team is looking for an experienced Senior Product Architect who is passionate about building customer centric products. As a Senior Product Architect at Equifax, you will work with business partners to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine and communicate business needs, so that business and/or technical delivery teams can build effective solutions. This requires a detailed understanding of customer needs, as well as business vision and strategy, to prioritize investment, business value and delivery. You are able to work collaboratively with multiple development teams and you are passionate about technology, and the business opportunities it presents, with the ability to comprehend both technical and business topics to recommend options and solutions.
What you’ll do
- Develop and adapt product roadmap; Review product performance; Participate in market and competitive analysis
- Meet with customer teams and customers to understand pain points and help guide roadmap priorities; map releases to customer and market needs
- Work with CX and UX teams to ensure design fits customer, business and technical requirements
- Create high level system flows and Epic/Feature documentation as needed
- Drive requirements reviews with internal teams and with customers to ensure clarity and understanding; communicate the vision
- Work with the product owner in sprint planning and daily standups; pay meticulous attention to juggling the backlog; inspire and provide steady direction to technology team
- Manage cross-functional projects by providing project leadership and daily management throughout the project from inception to delivery
- Evangelize product direction to internal stakeholders and customers. Identify commonalities or gaps across stakeholders and proactively drive toward alignment
- Act as the translation layer between customers, business users and technology teams. This requires you to be comfortable with both ‘business speak’ and ‘tech speak’
- Work with Legal, Security, and Compliance to ensure guidelines are being met
- Assist technical teams with issues that require technical expertise or complex systems knowledge
- Attend and lead design sessions with customers and partners
What experience you need
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or in a related technical field. Business or equivalent job experience required
- 5+ years’ experience as a developer, business analyst, team lead, product owner or other delivery role
- Can act as a business analyst, team lead, product owner or other delivery role when needed

- Be an articulate communicator - both speaking and writing – and in a variety of styles including legal, business requirements and marketing
- Possess technical fluency, with the ability to comfortably discuss technology concepts, and have an understanding of the entire technology stack
- Understand product life cycles, has developed training and go to market materials
- Conducted in depth opportunity/risk analysis
- Comfortable presenting judgment decisions to stakeholders and collaborating in a cross-functional team, and speaking and presenting to Senior-level management
- Excel at developing business requirements
- Practical experience in agile scrum methodologies and agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Rally, AgileCraft, VersionOne, etc.
