Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in sales, digital marketing, and/or consulting.
  • Experience with Google Ads.
  • Ability to speak and write in Spanish and English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising sales and the agency ecosystem, while partnering with cross-functional partners, advertisers, agencies, and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques (e.g. effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling) to influence executive business leaders, manage pipeline, and close agreements.
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.

The Agency Sales team is a sales team that drives customer success by partnering with a wide range of independent performance media agencies in Latin America. As an Account Strategist, you'll be a customer focused front-line promoter who represents Google. You'll provide the best solutions Google has to offer. You will design transformative media strategies for growth based on both advertiser and agency objectives.

You'll partner with agencies and achieve their business and marketing objectives while driving incremental business agreements through our advertising solutions. You'll have a deep understanding of customers’ business goals, and activate initiatives across both agency and customer via improving account and campaign performance, driving thoughtful Google product adoption, and designing short-, medium-, and long-term strategies to meet customer business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of performance agencies and customers and maintain a healthy and predictable pipeline. Identify opportunities for growth, manage risks, and build multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives. Co-create strategies with clients and agencies to make opportunities that contribute to your ability to exceed business goals.
  • Pitch and provide strategic recommendations to help performance customers and agencies to get the best return on investment on their advertising.
  • Solve partner business challenges using critical thinking and teamwork to produce industry leading media plans.
  • Work together with the Account Development Manager to understand the incentives of the agencies and help them in the development of their businesses.
