The A Side: A Day in The Life

As a People Operations Specialist you will work closely with our PIC teams to build knowledge of our People Systems, mainly focusing on Workday, and promote a love for data. With an eye for detail and a focus on HR and Payroll best practices you will look for opportunities for process improvements and work closely with our Systems Specialists to deliver these improvements to our PIC colleagues.
As first line support you will be a vital point of contact for all People Systems queries providing valuable knowledge and guidance every day. You will also oversee our daily Workday transactions ensuring that data is transferred accurately through our integrations to our internal and external service providers.

The B Side: Skills & Experience

Be Collaborative
  • Provide Workday support to the People Inclusion and Culture (PIC) Assistant team including:First point of contact for PIC Assistants queries on Workday
    • Approvals (check of monthly hires/change documentation) to ensure completeness/accuracy in Workday
    • Workday audits & data accuracy (e.g. Notice Periods, Financial Measures, Holiday Balances, etc.)

Be Knowledgeable
  • Serve as subject matter expert alongside the Workday Specialist
  • Review, analyse and create detailed documentation of business processes and systems functionality, including workflow, program functions and steps required to execute systems transactions/processes.
Be Analytical
  • Assist in analysing current processes and systems for overall effectiveness and recommend plans for continued process improvements and systems enhancements to support business strategies and operational needs
  • Perform system tests and audits for data accuracy, integrity, functionality, system releases, enhancements
Be Organised
  • Identification of critical future dated items from all Employment Contracts and management of the Contracts Database (as it transitions into Workday).
  • Coordination of Workday reporting catalogue to assist with Production of reports
  • Assist with production of reports, metrics, queries, and dashboards to support stakeholder needs
  • Approvals (check of monthly hires/change documentation) to ensure completeness/accuracy in Workday

Person Specification

Necessary
  • Understanding of Employee Life Cycle administration and HR business processes
  • Time management, organisational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail as well as follow through ability, strong analytical/problem-solving skills, and sound judgement
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and exercise appropriate judgment
  • Team-oriented attitude balanced with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience working in cross functional groups, across multiple countries

Desirable
  • Experience with Workday (or equivalent)
  • Proficient in MS Office
