We are looking for a dynamic, motivated marketing professional to develop, direct, and lead all marketing initiatives for Yardi Canada!

What you will do

• Use your expertise to lead marketing initiatives that include brand building, digital marketing, content development, event management, analytics, and client initiatives
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to include sales, product management, development, and corporate marketing
• Represent Yardi Canada on the global marketing team and regionalize marketing initiatives as appropriate
• Lead the go-to-market strategy, which includes market research, building personas, defining the customer journey and crafting comprehensive and effective marketing campaigns
• Run digital marketing initiatives including SEM and advertising with media partners (including measuring, tracking and reporting on the results and its effectiveness
• Build powerful content with our brand’s voice, customized to each channel which may include webpages, emails, publication articles, blog posts, print or digital ads or tradeshow booths
• Manage the client ambassador program, which involves being the lead contact for all marketing initiatives with clients including case studies, industry speaking engagements and more
• Be part of a great team and collaborate on a regular basis to ensure team success
• Be the primary contact for regional and national associations and the sponsorship program for Canada
• Manage the marketing budget for all marketing initiatives
• Understand and support sales channels and build collateral that will support an ambitious sales pipeline
• Mentor and manage a team of 3 marketing creatives

What you need to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Event Management
• 5+ years of experience in marketing with a minimum of 4 years of experience building and leading effective teams
• The ability to look at the strategy from a high-level view as well as execute at the tactical level
• The capacity to quickly deconstruct, translate and present complex concepts to varying stakeholders (both internally and externally)
• Effective project management skills and the ability meet deadlines as well as coordinate and collaborate cross-functionally
• Ability to write powerful articles or email campaigns and deliver presentations to various stakeholders (from the C Suite to peers)
• Strong internal motivation and the ability to prioritize effectively
• Results driven and data obsessed with an analytical mindset with the ability to define and measure the success of projects
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and create a team-oriented environment with an agile focus
• Ability to work some nights and weekends for client events and trade shows
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and the ability to prioritize effectively
• Strong internal motivation and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Great people skills and the ability to be personable and professional
• 10% travel required to various industry events

What would be nice to have

• Master’s degree in Marketing or Event Management or an MBA
• Experience in the real estate and/or tech sectors
