The role

Narvar is steadily growing its talent footprint globally, and we are looking for a player/coach to orchestrate the growth of Narvar’s most important asset: its team. The ideal Director of Talent Acquisition (TA) will lead our organization’s talent growth initiatives and team, prioritize stakeholder advocacy, data-driven strategic decision making, process agility, and exceptional communications efforts (internal and external) to achieve our ongoing growth goals. The director confidently balances a startup sense of urgency with an unrelenting commitment to quality.

Day-to-day

  • Empower the TA team in their efforts to advocate for their hiring teams and candidates through the entire recruiting lifecycle, and in their career development
  • Act as strategic talent business partner to support key hiring initiatives and team goals
  • Using data and stakeholder feedback, establish, refine and drive process to improve our sourcing, recruiting and hiring results, from candidate experience to business impacts
  • Lead the TA team by applying best practices in the use of data to communicate with internal clients
  • Develop and manage programs to drive growth goals
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and process, in terms of both “selling” and assessing (for TA and hiring teams)
  • Ensure our systems are operating optimally to support our business goals through automation, as well as accurate and useful data
  • Partner with the People Team, hiring teams, and other internal teams to ensure smooth transitions from the offer process through to onboarding
  • Partner with the People and marketing teams to monitor and improve talent branding initiatives

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ year of people management experience in talent acquisition (with special emphasis on process, pipeline and capacity management)
  • 7+ years hands on recruiting experience across all functional areas and levels in a SaaS context
  • Background in SaaS / B2B technology companies (in the talent acquisition function)
  • Extremely data focused and driven; can quickly gather, aggregate and formulate decisions based on data (Recruiting BI tool is TalentWall, so experience with this tool or similar is preferred)
  • Hands on ATS expertise, ideally with an emphasis on talent data analytics (Greenhouse is our system, so experience with this tool is a nice to have)
  • Depth of experience hiring engineers, with the accompanying understanding of SaaS development methodologies and technologies
  • Excellent communications and negotiation skills
