Cvent's Global Demand Center is seeking a data driven marketer to join the Marketing Data & Insights team in supporting targeted marketing campaigns and analyzing the ever-changing trends within our target audiences. Cvent’s Marketing database is the engine that powers our aggressive lead generation model. This role will specifically support global marketing stakeholders in enabling the business to run smarter campaigns to drive leads and eventually revenue for the business efficiently and at scale via data & insights. The ideal candidate should be able to understand the marketing campaign lifecycles, how to segment data and how to obtain stronger segmentation information and analyze audience trends to keep up with CVENT’s rapidly evolving business and campaign requirements.
Cvent’s Global Demand Center manages the technology, processes, and data that generate leads and demand for Cvent’s suite of products. We are an internal shared-services agency housing digital, email, web, data & insights, as well as end to end campaign management and execution.
What You Will Be Doing
- Global Campaign Data Consultation
- Use both qualitative and quantitative methods to interpret target audience activity, analyze results, and make ongoing recommendations to our stakeholders on how to improve campaigns and conversion to enable us to hit our MQL, SQL and bookings goals.
- Translate data and findings into viable business recommendations via monthly presentations, reports, and trainings.
- Partner with other execution functions to ensure we have an audience driven approach to all marketing programs.
- Lead the effort to increase data fluency and transparency for the marketing organization through quarterly trainings, documentation building, and creative methods to support self-service initiatives.
- Work with functions outside of marketing to understand how each of our data systems connect to identify ways to improve marketing segmentation ability and build smarter targeting strategies.
- Responsible for advocating better campaigns strategies through email and data compliance. This role will be integral in ensuring that we continue to abide by marketing regulations as well as data/email best practices in partnership with Email Marketing Team and Campaign Owners in Cvent Marketing. Additional this role will partner with legal to ensure our data segmentation usage is compliant with ever changing marketing regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.
- Supporting Day to Day Campaign Execution Operations via Clarizen (internal project management tool).
What You Need For This Position
- 2+ years of relevant professional work experience.
- Analytical and data driven thinker.
- Strong project management skills, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
- Good understanding of marketing platforms like Marketo, Salesforce and other CRM systems.
- Exposure to enterprise-grade database systems or contact management systems (CMS)
- Highly Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially in Excel reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge of the implementation, measurement, and optimization of marketing campaigns
- Email Marketing best practices.
- Must be self-motivated and enjoy an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills (Verbal & written); ability to provide concise, clear reporting and actionable analysis.
- Knowledge of SQL is a good to have (not need to have).
