About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Be a growth engine for the cultural sector and make culture accessible, relevant, and fun to everyone. Google Art and Culture (GAC) Marketing's role is to focus on the strategic initiatives that bring scale with users to some of GAC work. We drive Social and YouTube strategies, and we develop or support certain policy, partner, and cross-product area projects.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will raise the awareness of Google Arts and Culture Partners for consumers and cultural elites by working closely with a cross-functional team across Marketing, Public Relations (PR), Policy, Engineering, and Partnerships, defining our marketing program to increase engagement across surfaces. Together with these teams, you will create Marketing, PR, and Policy momentum, helping our partners unleash the full potential of their content. Additionally, you will drive user research, coordinate market research to support the overall Google Arts and Culture growth strategy, and provide feedback and learnings on user experience and engagement.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute marketing strategy for Google Arts and Culture across different territories/areas.
  • Create, lead, and project-manage the execution of high impact programs to drive Google Arts and Culture engagement.
  • Define and drive the YouTube and social strategy to grow a community around culture and new technologies.
  • Build and develop strategic partnerships with new types of partners.
  • Manage budget, appoint and manage creative and event agencies to deliver key projects, and track and analyze marketing programs to optimize overall results.
