Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in creating roadmaps with customer stakeholders to help drive solution adoption and business value.
  • Experience in the cybersecurity landscape with focus on Threat Detection or Security Operations and associated technologies (SIEM, SOAR, EDR) and concepts.
  • Experience driving digital transformation programs for enterprise customers utilizing security solutions across IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a management, technical, or engineering field.
  • ISACA or equivalent security certifications (e.g. CISM, CISSP).
  • Customer-facing work experience, including C-suite level governance and reporting.
  • Experience leading or project managing security operations transformation programs, including working with Enterprise and Solution architects to define future states and the roadmap to deliver them.
  • Experience collaborating with channel partners and system integrators, and with the Google Cloud ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, conflict resolution, and program management skills.

As a Customer Success Manager (CSM) for Google Cloud Security, you will directly manage a portfolio of accounts, and for these accounts you’ll partner with customers to develop a plan that aligns their business needs to success accelerators: organizational, programmatic, and technical strategies designed to reduce time to value for Google solutions. For accounts managed by Google Cloud Platform CSMs, you will act as a subject matter overlay, defining strategy and identifying and delivering priority accelerators as part of an overall customer transformation plan. For all the accounts you work with, you will ensure fast onboarding to Google solutions, driving their adoption, removing organizational and technical barriers, and identifying opportunities for customers to increase business value through adopting additional solution products.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the successful onboarding and adoption of Google Cloud security solutions for a portfolio of accounts.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in security, providing thought leadership to customers at executive and practitioner levels and to other teams within Google Cloud.
  • Partner with customers to identify success services that will accelerate their time to value, and develop plans to implement these services, including the tracking of objectives, stakeholders, milestones, risks, and metrics.
  • Guide senior customer stakeholders through the changes needed to unlock the full value of Google Cloud security solutions, providing best practices and guidance to help them design the optimal enablement and adoption strategy to modernize their security operations and maximize business value.
