Position Purpose:
The Technology Team in France seeks a skilled and motivated PMO Lead. France is one of our largest Markets and is one of five markets in our Lead International Operated Markets (Lead IOM). This exciting role is situated in the French Head Office at Guyancourt near Paris . The successful candidate will play a critical role in the French technology team and will be responsible for project planning including initiation and the maintaining the French deployment roadmap, project status reporting and budget management.
The PMO Lead role is a critical role that ensures that Global Technology Products and Capabilities are successfully localized, tested and deployed to French Customers and Crew. The projects and products are centered around our Global Restaurant, Digital, Delivery and data driven CRM platforms. The role has an international element and requires regular interaction with Market Technology teams, Global Technology and other Business Functions and as such requires excellent communication and influencing skills. Experience of Agile will be beneficial as the French team are starting to transform their existing ways of working.
The French Technology team is responsible for deploying and activating all innovative, Global products within their Market. To do so they need to run outstanding projects and programs for their Restaurants.
Team Structure
The PMO Lead role reports into the French Technology Director/CIO. The PMO Lead also has a dotted reporting line into the Lead International Operated Markets (Lead IOM) Future Readiness Team. The Lead IOM segment team is comprised of: Future Readiness Team plus the technology teams in Australia, Canada, France, Germany and UK. The French Technology team is part of the broader Lead IOM team which is a key part of McDonald’s Global Technology function
To be successful in the role you will work closely with your peers in the French Technology Team and the Lead IOM future Readiness Team. Other stakeholders include Global Technology PMO, Engineering and Product Teams as well as Digital Customer Engagement. Within the French Market you will also work with Operations, Marketing and Legal as you prepare your project documentation.
Responsibilities:
In this prominent role, you will be responsible for the program management of digital (mobile, Kiosk, CRM, Web), restaurant (kiosk, POS, kitchen operations), Delivery and IT solutions from requirements phase through to market acceptance and ultimately ensuring that the McDonald’s French Technology vision comes to life.
You will work directly with market CIO to understand the priorities for the French Market and assume responsibility for crafting and maintaining the French Deployment Roadmap. At the outset of every initiative you will be responsible for outlining the scope and any assumptions or risks and detailing these according to the standards set by the wider Global Technology PMO Function. You will define and own the end-to-end Technology plan as well as reporting on status throughout the life cycle of the projects.
Our solutions are tightly coordinated to deliver a good experience for our Customers and Crew. Over time, you will acquire a detailed understanding of our Technology Products, their dependencies, and how they fit together. You will work cross-functionally in a matrix organization in order to understand what is required to deliver each set of business capabilities. The role is ideal for manager and change agent who has an aptitude for leading teams from vision through the delivery of business results.
As part of LIOM Planning and Alignment Team the PMO Lead will attend peer team meetings, accept and deliver (appropriate) tasks assigned, participate in group activities and assignments to both suggest and implement process improvements for technology function.
