Position Description:

Our IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. We collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation.

Our Company has assessed and identified the benefits of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) transformation to address the challenges of managing an increasingly complex product information management ecosystem. To that end, our Company has initiated the Integrated Product Information (IPI) for Change Control program in support of our Company's Manufacturing business. The proposed transformation approach will demonstrate value incrementally by deploying End-to-End Change Control Processes, Specification Management, Product Structure Management, and integration to Regulatory Intelligence in support of Material Control processes.

The IPI Project Manager role is responsible for working with the IT Technical and Business Delivery teams to develop and maintain an Integrated Project Plan in support of a large enterprise project. In this capacity this role will orchestrate and partner with a team of technical and business experts, delivery leads, testing services and senior leaders in support of delivering the capabilities required for the IPI Platform.

The incumbent is responsible for the following functions and deliverables on the project:

  • Partnering with the IT technical team leads and IT PMO lead to develop and manage the technical project plan for a release. This includes design and build, data migration, testing, legacy systems integration, infrastructure, and IT production support.
  • Partnering with the Business team leads and Business PMO lead to develop and manage the business project plan for a release. This includes change management, business integration, data readiness, testing, and business production support.
  • Managing and tracking risks, issues, actions, and appropriate mitigations via the PRAID log
  • Supporting the development of an Integrated Project Plan (IPP) across releases and reporting up to technical leadership on progress
  • Supporting the IT PMO Leader in project administration, including coordination of IT services and supporting activities
  • Lead Tier meetings, including the IT Integration meeting which requires documenting meeting minutes, action items and following up with owners as needed

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or equivalent

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 10 years program/project management experience for GxP systems
  • Previous experience managing large, complex, global IT projects
  • Familiarity with our Company’s SDLC and IT services
  • Experience in various methods of Project Management and Software Development such as Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall
  • Experience coordinating tasks and managing follow-up in a matrixed environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with both a business and a technical audience. In addition, strong organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to recognize and help mitigate and escalate risks to the project
  • The ability to work independently and effectively as a team across global hubs, and maintain a highly collaborative, transparent effort
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with and through others to achieve shared goals
  • Understanding of GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations and guidelines
  • Previous experience working as an IT program/project manager at our Company is a plus
