Job Description
Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Programming Rep IV to join our team supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing (HPC) Modernization Program (DoD HPCMP) and Navy DoD Supercomputing Resource Center (DSRC) located at the John C. Stennis Space Center, MS. The successful candidate will serve as a Programmer Analyst supporting HPC engineering and operations.
This position generates, revises, updates, compiles, debugs and writes business, scientific, or software computer programs. Develops flow charts and diagrams outlining process steps in operation: develops and revises program code. Prepares documentation of program development, modifications to code and operating instructions. Conducts program tests and may be required to analyze system capabilities to resolve input/output problems..
#hits-u02 Required Education, Experience, & Skills - High School and 10+ years’ working experience or Bachelors and 6+ years; candidates with Armed Forces college courses or Associate Degrees, extensive certification, and additional experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - 2 years’ experience in various HPC systems, various HPC technologies:
- Cray/Cray EX, IBM, SGI, Penguin, or custom architectures
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, or Linux variants operating systems (OS)
- InfiniBand (IB), Intel Omni-Path interconnects
- Portable Batch System (PBS), Simple Linux Utility for Resource Management (SLURM), or IBM Platform Load Sharing Facility (LSF) schedulers
- Intel Xeon, AMD EPYC, or ARM CPUs
- Nvidia graphic processing units (GPU)s
- ITIL Foundation
