About the role

As an IT Support Engineer at Syapse you will maintain our company’s corporate computing infrastructure and support a dynamic environment in a remote environment that is rapidly growing.

What you will be responsible for

• Manage corporate IT systems and applications within the organization
• Tier 3 troubleshooting of hardware and software issues related to internal IT within a remote environment
• Patching of laptops to stay compliant and to maintain high performance
• Track status and update antivirus signatures on all laptops
• Use of Jira ticketing system to provide support to staff
• Ensure security of data including enforcement of MFA and SSO
• Support audio/video issues using Google Meet, WebEx, and Zoom
• Inventory stock

What you bring to the table

• Expert-level knowledge of Google Workspace Enterprise Plus
• Excellent knowledge of technical management and of computer hardware/software systems including expert level experience with Apple and Microsoft Windows devices
• Experience with security applications for Apple and Microsoft Windows devices including Kaseya, Jamf Pro, Jamf Connect, Jamf Protect, Cisco Umbrella, EndPoint Protection, and Okta SSO
• Experience with technology rollouts
• Experience with use of Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira)
• Ability to constantly and effectively manage competing priorities. Collaborate with key stakeholders in the organization to deliver awesome IT service
• Experience with Atlassian, Google Workspace Enterprise Plus, Microsoft O365, Okta, macOS, Windows OS, Apple and Dell hardware, Jamf Pro, Kaseya, Cisco Umbrella, Endpoint Protection, WebEx, and Zoom
• Healthcare industry experience with an understanding of HIPAA, PHI and PII a plus

A Note on Location:

Syapse is a Remote-First company. What does that mean? Simply, we hire team members anywhere regulations allow and assume everyone will work from home full time. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Syapse hires need to be located and perform their job in the United States. Some folks travel, some may eventually gather in person in areas where we have a critical mass of employees, and of course we’re excited to get together as departments and as a whole company throughout the year in person. But you, and the rest of Team Syapse, will mostly work from home.
