TPM Planning Coordinator

Job Description

Japan TPM planning team is a part of Global Supply Chain and manage production plan of skincare and makeup finished goods in Japan and distribute to Estee Lauder DCs and HUBs globally.

TPM planner role is one of the strategic pillars of the GSC organization, this key role is an instrumental and decisive in demonstrating the significance of Supply Chain organization’s thriving promises that are essentially enabling Affiliate and Brand’s front-end business drivers to accomplish the company’s goals.

The main function is based on sales forecasts from markets, properly plan materials, secure production capacity at TPMs and meet on time delivery while optimize inventory and cost.

The core role and responsibility of each planner is to fulfill demands for new launch, promotional and continuous finished goods.

1. Based on Sales Forecasts from markets, properly plan materials to optimize service, inventory, and cost:

-Raw Materials and Packaging components from both overseas and local suppliers.

-Finish Goods (FG) from regional Third Party Manufactures (TPM)

1. Manage the new products planning process with global partners to ensure that right quantities of products are delivered to the distribution centers on time with high quality.
2. Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with suppliers to support manufacturing needs for raw materials and components, market needs for finished goods on time and to achieve continuous improvement in quality and cost reductions.
3. Keep low inventory level while maintain high on time delivery in full ratio and ensure inventory is reconciled between ELC and supplier books.
4. Lead and coordinate timely execution of obsolete and excess material repurposing and destruction for optimized inventory.
5. Maintain daily, weekly, monthly reporting and scorecards to drive EDGE (every day great execution) mindset and performance.
6. Collaborate with other planning teams and master data to ensure solid data integrity and optimized planning parameters and Bill of Materials.
7. Embrace 'leading from every chair' mentality by proactively taking ownership in the day to day activities as well as challenging oneself to lead certain improvement initiatives.
8. Engage with the team and the managers in regional and global initiatives to drive continuous improvement of key KPIs. Language

1. English proficiency (Oral & Written), TOEIC score at 850 points or equivalent capability required.
2. Japanese proficiency (Written) JLPT 2 or above required (Oral) Business level.

Supply Chain Management knowledge/experience

1. Financial and Supply Chain Planning knowledge (planning, inventory management, purchasing)
2. 4 + year experience in relevant Supply chain Management fields such as FMCG
3. Work experience in Production Planning, Inventory Management in particular, Order reception/placement, inventory optimization, delivery adjustment, production optimization, supplier performance review.
