Sikorsky Commercial Business Development Senior Manager

Description:The Commercial BD Senior Manager for Sikorsky will be responsible for developing and capturing domestic and international commercial opportunities, including non-DoD Black Hawk sales (Firehawk, CPB, FBI, etc.) market intelligence/presence, business strategy, opportunity development – all leading to the growth of Sikorsky’s Global Commercial and Military Systems market segment. The Senior Manager will report to the GCMS BD Director and will be the internal and external contact for Sikorsky’s commercial business growth and priorities. Key responsibilities include: LRP growth, leading a business development team, recruitment, and development of talent; ensuring that skills and assigned portfolios are aligned to the market segment priorities; actively developing and maintaining relationships to optimize Sikorsky’s position in the commercial market.
Basic Qualifications:
•10+ years of experience with commercial markets and customer base.
•Experience with leadership of senior level talent and engagement of executive level customers.
•Demonstrated success in the commercial marketplace to include Oil and Gas, Firehawk, VIP and Head of State Customers.
•Customer understanding and ability to build strong relationships. Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) experience.
•Flexibility to travel (approximately 40%) in support of contract development and negotiation.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in sales/business development and building customer relationships.
•The ability to meet and converse easily in the region with high level ranking officials and/or technical customer personnel is also required.
•Experience negotiating contracts is a plus.
•Possessing basic technical knowledge of the aircraft, aircraft systems, and/or maintenance knowledge is a plus.
•Excellent communication and negotiation skills. This includes ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
•Demonstrated ability to engage with and lead cross-functional teams.
