Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience managing software engineering teams.
• Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: C++, C, Go, and/or Java.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Map-Reduce, Full-Stack, Microservices, Large Data Sets, Privacy, and Gaming
• Ability and openness to dealing with ambiguity and learning/working with new technologies
• Passion for delivering excellent, scaleable, efficient infrastructure

Stadia is a disruptive game streaming technology designed to bring AAA gaming to everybody while maintaining a low cost of entry.

The Stadia Commerce team owns the systems which govern the exchange of money for streaming entitlements from ingesting prices from publishers, through end-user subscriptions and transactions, to end-of-month accounting, royalty payouts and billing.

The Pricing and Billing sub-team owns the monetary exchange between Stadia and our Publishers. In this role, you will help design and code the pipelines and online services that will power large scale monetary reporting, billing, and business growth sharing with Stadia Publishers.

Stadia is Google’s premier Video Game platform, designed for everyone. We are working on custom built hardware and rapidly evolving open source technology to deliver a seamless gaming experience across multiple devices. Stadia provides players new ways to discover, engage, and connect with content with no download required thanks to our cutting-edge data centers. Our team members are building the tools that will push game development to new levels, reducing the barrier to entry and bringing gaming to everyone. Responsibilities

• Manage the team and be a deeply technical mentor, thought leader, and a pioneer of best practices
• Work closely with Product Managers, Feature teams, Accounting and Finance Agents, and Analysts
• Write designs for Pricing and Billing pipelines and online systems
• Review designs of other team members
• Develop microservices and productionizing new APIs and systems
