Position Title: Sr Analyst, Distribution Operations (OPEX Unification)
Department: Distribution Center of Excellence
Reports to: OPEX Unification & Analytics Manager

The Sr Analyst, Distribution Operations role will be responsible for developing and leading the standardization and unification of distribution operations across the Newell Service Network and other BU distribution centers. The standardization and unification efforts will consist of various initiatives including, but not limited to Service Center wellness checks, readiness assessments, and product transition hyper care; as well as the development and support of Supply Chain analytics, continuous improvement efforts, and the deployment of distribution core systems expansion. This individual will serve as the single point of contact for all operational standardization and unification initiatives within the Distribution Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities
• Lead the development and application of the Service Center wellness and readiness assessments in coordination with the DC Design and Change Management organizations – ensuring organizational alignment and delivering actionable plans and post-transition hyper care on schedule with the overall timeline.
• Responsible for ensuring key stakeholders follow the Distribution Center of Excellence processes to provide informed updates to the NSN leadership team, highlighting the current status, adherence to the readiness assessments, transition hyper care, and program standards
• Develop Subject Matter Experts within the OPEX, Unification and Standardization organization for the standardization, unification, and expansion of distribution core systems (Volume Based Staffing, Labor Management, Slotting, and Yard Management).
• Coordinate all D-COE efforts to develop, maintain and update distribution operational performance metrics and KPIs to provide visibility and actionable insight to NSN executive leadership and Service Center operational leadership.
• Drive innovation and the professional challenging of current and/or traditional ways of thinking to lead the creation of new efficient ways of working within the D-COE organization and broader NSN.
• Ensure seamless communication and collaboration between various cross functional groups associated with distribution operations to include but not limited to: NSN leadership, IT, Finance, HR, Business Units, DC site leadership, preferred vendors, and key stakeholders.
• Act as the source representative for OPEX & Unification in the development of the Newell Service Network ecomm and drop ship capabilities to deliver first class service to customers and consumers within a 48-hour window.
• Responsible for the development of the Command Center model for all Service Centers to provide live insight and visibility to operational and executive leadership.
• Identify, design and own all D-COE OPEX productivity initiatives in coordination with the FUEL program.
• Support regular Service Center P&L reviews to ensure unification, standardization, and productivity initiatives are driving improvements on key financial indicators.

Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent degree
• 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing / distribution role leadership role or in a Central Supply Chain type role with project and leadership experience
• Experience leading large, cross-functional teams to achieve results
• Interpersonal skills, self-confidence, leadership abilities
• Proven Change agent
• Ability to build trust and interact with all levels of the organization, including senior management
• Strong project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communication skills (verbal and written)
• Working knowledge of common distribution systems and processes
• Professional maturity, appearance, and demeanor
• Proficiency in areas of general business administration: organizational design and communications, economics, finance, etc.
• Team leadership and team membership skills
• Creative, reliable, organized, adaptable, flexible, innovative, and a self-starter
• Computer literate (including mastery of all Microsoft Office Suite)
• Customer service orientation
• Focus on adding value to a fast and performance driven business
• Ability to travel 75% to Supply Chain locations across the US and Internationally
