Our Biotechnology Discovery Research team is looking for an ambitious postdoctoral scientist with strong research and communication skills to contribute to high visibility research projects. If you are a scientist with expertise in molecular biology, protein expression and tissue culture, apply today! This work will contribute to the development of new capabilities to broadly expand the target space for antibody discovery.

Basic Requirements:

PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Protein Chemistry, Biochemical engineering, or related field

Skills needed:

• Experience with protein engineering and protein computation methods
• Experience with gene cloning, expression, and purification
• Experience with cell culture techniques
• Experience with SPR and other biophysical methods
• Experience with assay development, data interpretation, and troubleshooting
• Ability to interact effectively and as part of interdisciplinary protein engineering team to get results
• Work in a highly collaborative groups including structural biologists, protein chemists, and protein engineers
• Ability to present findings at internal and external conferences
• Strong publication record
• Ability to conduct independent research

Additional Preferences:

• Experience with additional biophysical characterization methods including ITC and CD
• Strong background in structural biology, computational protein science
• Ability to work independently and learn new techniques while continually pursuing research and publication goals
• Experience with phage display platform is a plus

This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.
