Qualifications

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Regional Product Lead role within our EMEA GTM team is a consultative position which combines deep knowledge of our product offerings with a creative ability to position the value for advertisers. It involves a mix of leading strategic programs for executives and delivering initiatives with sales and product teams.

You’ll be part of a small and diverse team of regional product leads who cover a range of Google’s travel performance products within the measurement and online to offline space. The team covers all travel topics from travel industry search (e.g. Hotel Ads, Flights, Activities and Vacation Rentals) to aligning the overall EMEA vision on travel across Search, Display and YouTube.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Global Product Leads (GPLs) and Product Managers (PMs) to develop an EMEA view on our products, based on client and specialist feedback in order to positively influence global product strategy.
  • Propose, communicate, and get leadership agreement on a clear, mid to long-term EMEA strategy for your specialist area. This includes sizing the opportunity, clarifying the value proposition, prioritizing, and securing resources.
  • Lead or co-lead specialist communities and help Large Customer Sales (LCS) to execute the EMEA strategy. Drive focus, intensity, excellence, and expertise in specialists.
  • Create collaboration and best practice sharing across EMEA. Ensure Googlers have the right collateral, tools, and insights needed to achieve their commercial goals.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and drive core cross-functional projects. Be responsible for achievement of EMEA wide goals on travel products.
