POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Project Manager leads the inter-departmental communication and execution of all packaging projects within the Global Consumer Marketing Organization. This individual will be responsible for the creation and management of all project timelines and calendars. They oversee the process for each major project and request, from inception through artwork release, including participation in planning, development of production schedules, resource allocation, delivery of assets, archive management, and the ability to know when and how to raise red flags as issues arise that may impact delivery timing.

This role requires an understanding of the Calvin Klein brand, the ability to manage multiple projects with high levels of complexity and the oversight of one Project Management Coordinator. The Senior Project Manager will work alongside product, creative and copy across many levels of the organization and should have experience in client services and cloud-based project management software (Wrike, Smartsheet, etc.).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Receive project briefs and work requests, ensuring that they are complete before commencement of work
  • Create and manage timelines for packaging artwork development and photoshoots
  • Facilitate cross-discipline and cross-partner collaboration
  • Document project process using established tools
  • Ensure the routing of materials to appropriate stakeholders for review
  • Keep a current status overview of all active projects and lead weekly status meetings to keep moving them forward
  • Own and oversee all packaging suppliers’ use of Wrike for proof reviews
  • Identify problems and propose solutions to keep moving towards completion
  • Support the development of workflow procedures and best practices in partnership with the Product Marketing and Packaging Supply
  • Have thorough understanding of the product GTM process and the role it plays relative to packaging development
  • Have thorough understanding of marketing, merchandising, design and creative department roles and responsibilities relative to packaging
  • Provide point of view on best practices and solutions across functions

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

  • Minimum 7+ years proven and progressive project management and/or account management experience

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills; positive, energetic and open minded
  • Customer Service orientated
  • Proficient in using Wrike as a tool for project management
  • Strong work ethic, and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal
  • Fully proficient with Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Be comfortable managing and influencing people who are not direct reports, as well as executive level personnel
  • Confidently lead, motivate and influence project progress
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to adjust quickly to changes and deliver on multiple concurrent tight deadlines
  • Have a good working knowledge of pre-media disciplines and print production
  • Prior packaging experience a plus
