About the Role thredUP is looking for an IT Support Supervisor to join our growing IT team! This entry level supervisory position is critical to keep our IT teams aligned and projects moving forward in our warehouses. You’ll be the voice of corporate IT and lead our hourly support teams in a warehouse setting, providing mentorship and management. We aren’t looking for just another standard help desk person. We want someone who is really excited about new technology, someone who can figure out a brilliant new way to solve a problem, and someone who never wants to stop learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of IT & Operations Support Personnel across multiple shifts
• Drive the highest levels of performance from each team member through coaching, training, mentoring, and performance metrics
• Work closely with the corporate IT team on various projects
• Work closely with the warehouse manager to enhance our technology implementation on site
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems; perform problem escalation, if required
• Provide end-user support with their IT challenges in person, phone, email and chat
• Manage asset inventory (hardware/software), warranty tracking and repair history
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Participate in weekly service/project meetings

Requirements

• 1+ years of IT and management experience
• Strong Windows OS skills
• Strong project management skills
• Understands ticket process, workflow and queue management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of basic networking (IP Addressing basics, subnetting, DHCP, Cat6 cabling, wifi configuration)
• Ability to work on your feet for an extended period of time and open availability to support a 24 hour operation
