Description

We are currently seeking Sales Support Specialist to join our Sales Enablement team. The Sales Support Specialist is a key contributor to the Collins Aerospace Avionics Sales Enablement organization. The Sales Support Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams consisting primarily of Business Development and Finance. The Sales Support Specialist leads efforts to innovate, build and maintain the trusted data infrastructure needed to provide timely, consistent and accurate analytics to support business planning process, data-based decision making and goal achievement.

Areas of responsibility for the Sales Support Specialist include:

  • Collaboration with account teams to ensure orders & sales pipeline is accurate
  • Subject Matter Expert for orders & sales pipeline cadencing (dashboards, reporting)
  • Utilizes detailed analytics to provide data-based support in aide of decision-making
  • Applies project management skill set to achieve results on targeted requests (ad hoc)
  • Innovates existing processes through CORE skillset
  • Ability to understand financial data and impacts on business
  • Detailed understanding of sales process flow from pursuit to revenue recognition
  • Understanding of how to manage sales campaign execution and progress tracking
  • Uses strong organizational skills in support of Global Sales & Marketing Conference
  • Portfolio lead for synergy alignment and reporting
  • Salesforce data steward supports Business Development teams
  • Leads targeted discussion in support of pipeline cadence for L4 leadership team
  • Acts as trusted source reporting to senior leadership
  • Reaches broad network to build effective resources

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
  • Ability to problem solve utilizing multiple data sets
  • Fluent user Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Sound business acumen including contextual knowledge, stakeholder awareness and organizational impact
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing analytical findings into insightful recommendations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Concise and collaborative communicators across functional areas utilizing appropriate business acumen to understand issues facing our Business Development teams and distill them into insightful solutions
  • Experience in business aviation market
  • Curiously detail-oriented and apply critical thought to seek further understanding by posing mindful questions to guide the team to better refine process alignment across functional areas
  • Considerate problem solvers and exhibit the temperament to successfully resolve conflict
  • Familiarity with SIOP organization and processes
  • High quality standards and an appreciation for business acumen to ensure support is applied in a professional and timely manner
  • Able to link cause and effect in process architecture
