Description:Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company F-35 program seeks an experienced and motivated candidate to join the F-35 Signature Integration Team. The candidate will be required to prioritize multiple projects and initiatives in a complex environment to ensure program activities are well coordinated and executed. An ability to explain complex technical concepts in a readily comprehensible manner is necessary. The candidate will be required to exhibit effective and clear communications skills at all levels. The candidate will be required to understand RCS (Radar Cross Section) understand from simulations to full-scale measurements across a product’s life-cycle. Timely communication of project status and emerging issues to peers and management is critical.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Signature Management SME for RCS
• RCS measurements and measurement processing techniques
• LO Verification assessment and understanding of different RCS measurement tiers
• Technical Engineering Lead for Signature Integration projects from initialization through to implementation
• Prepare and submit basis of estimates to support recurring and pop-up contracts
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical field.
Strong communication skills.
Project lead experience.
RCS (Radar Cross Section) measurement experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
• Experienced with Radar Measurement Technology
• Adept at RCS measurement post-processing techniques
• Full knowledge of the F-35 Signature Integration DD-250 process including ATF (Acceptance Test Facility) testing
• F-35 LO troubleshooting experience
• Repair Verification Equipment (RVE) processes and procedures
• Proven experience interfacing with diverse teams of contractors, customers, and IPT management
• Familiarity with F-35 airframe design and coating materials and methods, aircraft systems and subsystems.
• Project management experience with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral), with a willingness to engage with subject matter experts in a variety of different functional organizations.
• Previous experience in low observables (LO), survivability, or susceptibility
• Experience in radar cross section (RCS) design, Low Observable (LO) materials and processes, and Supportable Low Observable (SLO) procedures
• Project or program management, and execution of signature technology
• Ability to operate autonomously with minimal direction from management
