Job Description
Typical Accountabilities:
Developing & implementing GCC TM strategy:
- Develops and monitors the annual strategic workforce plan for the business area, including review of business plan, key workforce trends and implications, as well as external labour market issues
- Influences Global Talent Management & Workforce planning strategies and processes by bringing in-depth knowledge, and strategic requirements from SET areas
- Provides input into other areas of HR on required interventions based on the workforce gaps identified, including Staffing, Rewards, OE and Development.
- Supports the introduction/implementation of new or enhanced global TM and WFP processes, systems, tools into the respective business area
- Helps implements talent pipeline planning approaches to ensure robust succession plans, quality talent pools and early identification of key leadership pipeline gaps
- Supports development of career pathways for talent (functionally and cross-functionally), and supports the facilitation of cross functional moves for the purposes of talent development
- Supports SET area driven projects or initiatives to drive improved Talent management & Workforce planning practices providing expertise and support
- Gathers external business market information and internal tacit knowledge and Strategic Workforce Plan to support staffing plans and functional requirements
- Engages various marketing and recruitment sources to proactively build internal & external candidates pipeline and support the sourcing business needs (professional/educational institutions, job fairs, web sites, specialist search consultants and researchers, internal educational campaigns, alumni groups, etc)
- Reviews and advises on recruitment campaign plans including selection criteria, candidate sources, timelines, and diversity
- Develops and comprehensive search strategies for specific hiring projects
- Works with line managers and HR Manager to understand future needs, develop and deliver appropriate strategies and populate external talent pools
- Develops and manages AstraZeneca’s approach to employee referral, maximizing opportunities to leverage employee knowledge & networks. Takes accountability for programme reputation and improvement
- Develops and manages AstraZeneca’s approach to recruitment communication materials and collateral, ensuring high quality on-brand output, including offer packs, brochures and event support materials. Influence an appropriate balance between the (cost) effectiveness of print vs. online
- Develops and manages AstraZeneca’s eCareers channel, creating a vision with stakeholders for a single global presence (AZ.com) and producing engaging content to support AstraZeneca’s EVP/Employer Brand story telling
- Manages interviewing, pre-selecting, offer management, hiring administration & country relocation processes.
- Design strong Onboarding process which: meets compliance requirements, improves/provides positive newcomers’ experience, fosters their productivity though smooth & prompt AZ integration, standardized new Line Mgrs’ integration program.
- Enhances life-long learning mindset in GCC, developing solutions (eg. Career ladder & iDevelop campaigns, promoting Digreed, enabling AZ & GCC development programs etc) and working closely with Employee Engagement Groups
- Ensures Workforce quarterly dashboards consolidated and cascaded
- Ensures Diversity & Inclusion strategy is integrated to talent acquisition and development practices in GCC and D&I agenda get proper resource and support for solid implementation of D&I principles and objectives.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, human resources, education or a relevant tertiary qualification an advantage
- Min. 10 of yrs in TA/TM role
- Proven coaching & training skills
- Progressive recruiting skills
- Demonstrated ability to build pools of external candidates using various search tools.
- Ability to build relationships with customers (hiring managers, HR colleagues and candidates) and suppliers by partnering and consultation.
- Strong project management skills
- Skill in soliciting input and evaluating business, client and candidate needs addressing concerns. Ability to influence, challenge and deliver constructive advice, diagnose and resolve problems and positively influence change
- Location is free based on the current location of the candidate
Desirable :
- Solid talent management COE experience
- Solid Talent acquisition experience
- Experience in pharma/ with GCC markets
