JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager, High Performance Pricing Solution brings together extensive knowledge of field processes, best practices, business needs and requirements to execute project leadership of High Performance Pricing. Collaborates with Field Support, Loyalty, Continent/Regional Revenue Management teams, Field Marketing and other market associates to standardize and define business processes. Works collaboratively with iT Plan and Build partners sharing business needs and processes to develop effective and efficient automated solutions that enable these processes. Provide high quality leadership and project management for approved High Performance Pricing initiatives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required:
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
or
- 5+ years’ experience in experience in revenue management, lodging/hospitality industry experience across multiple brands, strategic planning or a related discipline, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
- Direct management of project budgets more than $1.0M
Preferred:
- Five or more years of Revenue Management work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
- Lodging/hospitality industry experience across Full Service/Luxury and Select Brands.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and aggressive deadlines.
- Influencing skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to understand business needs and identify areas of opportunities
- Ability to present to internal and external audiences, as well as listen openly to feedback, with the result of achieving the best work.
- Excellent listening skills and willing to encourage ideas and resolve conflict in a positive manner

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- High Performance Pricing (HPP) Mgr responsible for leading the HPP solution strategy (Executing pricing strategies, ERS program pricing capabilities, Loyalty, Field Marketing, Distribution, facilitating collaboration with other solution team members, and executing system capability development with iT
- Participate in collaboration with Revenue Management Continent Leadership, including developing plans and deliverables, identifying opportunities, providing updates on progress to the Sr. Mgr, High Performance Pricing, and resolving /raising issues where appropriate
- Provides recommendations to improve the effectiveness of revenue management processes and programs
- Lead and/or assist as needed in the design of new system capabilities, collaborating on approach and solutions to enhancing revenue management capabilities and business processes
- Provide input into the training and communication plans, ensuring they are defined and validated to support effective rollout and adoption of new HPP capabilities
- Is a business partner with Continent, Revenue Management Solutions and Field Support Teams to define / standardize Revenue Management processes related to pricing
- Obtain Continent feedback and prioritization on the development of new and enhanced capabilities across all revenue management systems
- Provide regular reporting and maintain ongoing communications to the One Yield Product Leadership.
- Create, maintain, documentation on all functional and project management aspects of the projects.
