Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The position is responsible for transfer pricing calculations for US entities and branches and related reporting and analysis. The position requires a professional able to work closely with multiple groups, including product and financial control, regional transfer pricing groups, and US and regional tax departments. The individual must possess an understanding of accounting, a working knowledge of transfer pricing concepts, and the financial services industry. Strong PC and excel skills are also required. The results of the calculations and entries prepared are relied upon by Senior Management and have a material impact on the Firm’s tax rate.

What will you do?

• Prepare and communicate monthly transfer pricing calculations and journal entries.
• Respond to queries on entries and month-over-month variances.
• Support the monthly transfer pricing tracking process and ensure that transfer pricing entries have been posted as communicated. Follow up with product and financial control as necessary.
• Prepare annual related party reporting requirements for tax and legal entity reporting purposes.
• Prepare BEPS local files for US entities.
• Provide tax with analysis on intercompany activity to assist them with BEAT calculation.
• Analyze new transactions and, working with other transfer pricing and tax professionals, agree on methodology and implementation.
• Point person for queries from internal audit, external audit, and regulatory exams.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 10+ years of financial services experience
• General knowledge of financial services products
• Numerate, able to work with spreadsheets and perform financial analysis
• Ability to interact successfully with various departments in different regions

Nice To Have

• Seasoned professional in financial service industry with general knowledge of products
• Strong Accounting knowledge.
• Working knowledge of Transfer Pricing concepts
• Detail oriented
