Trade Operations Analyst

What is the opportunity?

The Trade Operations Analyst will perform a variety of operational activities with a particular focus on trade processing, settlement and trade desk support for all GAM UK managed equity accounts. In addition, the Trade Operations Analyst will support project and initiative delivery.

What will you do?

• Trades daily processing
• Trading systems use and maintenance
• Liaise with broker and custody teams in relation to daily activity
• Support new fund launches and trading related projects
• Daily and ad-hoc reporting

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Strong understanding of the securities industry, trading, and operational practices
• Good knowledge of the fund settlement cycle and FX instruments
• Solid experience in asset management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong collaborator and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to multi-task
• Proven organizational and time management skills necessary to meet crucial deadlines.
• Excel and /or Python proficiency

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Emerging Markets
• Good knowledge of Regulation (MiFID II, CSDR...)
• Experience with asset management tools (Charles River, Eagle, etc).
