PayPal’s Growth Markets aims to power the next wave of growth for PayPal by serving the needs of consumers and merchants in Rapidly emerging markets. Product managers in this team understand the locally relevant needs of customers and are responsible for building products that cater to those needs end to end across all customers touchpoints at PayPal. We work as one-team across engineering, product, design and work to solve customer problems.

Job responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of our customers in growth markets. Work with other product managers and lead user researches for identifying customer needs, benchmarking competition by working with cross functional teams.
• Ideate and develop product requirements and lead the overall development of product
• Work effectively with engineering to develop solutions; understand the UX, technical solution to discuss and influence trade-offs decisions. collaborate with product managers across the globe to assess and influence product impact to their area of expertise.
• Collaborate with Go to Market teams to launch, test and ramp the products in the market.
• Track the performance metrics for overall area and for each product launches and effectively solve product issues that arise working with engineering. Leverage data & analysis to ideate product improvements.
• Work with a global cross functional team for adherence to policy.
• Proactively seek feedback from customers, stakeholders and maintain a healthy backlog incremental improvements.

Who are we looking for

• Demonstrated ability to be curious about the areas that interest them and understand “why” till they are satisfied
• Strong collaboration – prior experience where they worked really well with other team members.
• Effectively articulate, listen and summarize ideas clearly.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• 2-4 years of product management experience
• MBA is a plus
• Knowledge of Brazil, Mexico or Japan market is a plus
