Acorns is seeking an experienced Partnerships & Affiliates Marketing Manager to join the user acquisition team. You will support the quickly growing affiliate and partnerships channels, develop strategy, optimize and launch new campaigns, manage affiliate relationships, measure results, and improve performance. You’ll also work cross-functionally across brand, design, analytics, business development, customer marketing, and engineering teams to support creative development, new channel and campaign experimentation, reporting, competitive intelligence, and other key initiatives foundational to Acorns growth.

Within 1 month, you will:

  • Introduce yourself to team members, stakeholders and collaborators you will be working with
  • Learn about our product, process and platforms
  • Talk to customers and shadow customers service calls to understand our users
  • Get acclimated with our current acquisition channels and processes
  • Become familiar with our vision, strategy and OKRs for Growth

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Execute our current affiliate strategy and report on key metrics for your channels, which include affiliate and partnerships (i.e. Chevron and Cricket Wireless).
  • Support our landing page and CVR optimization strategy, help build an experimentation roadmap, run experiments, report and analyze findings, and recommend improvements
  • Take over the management of existing affiliate relationships and campaigns. Negotiate deal terms, grow Acorns SOV, and identify new opportunities to improve performance through content, campaigns, and premium placements.
  • Manage the end to end relationship with our affiliates, vendors, and partners, including compensation, quality assessment, content audits, month-end accounting true-up, and contracts
  • Manage our affiliate tracking platform, Impact Radius
  • Manage new affiliate and partner research, deal negotiation, onboarding, campaign activation, and reporting
  • Work with design and brand teams to develop new creative assets, update brand guidelines, and educate affiliates on key Acorns product updates
  • Work with the compliance team to make sure affiliate and partnership marketing is compliant
  • Work with the customer support and operations teams to ensure all new customer incentives and bonuses are being implemented
  • Support the Acquisition team on planning, strategy, and special projects as needed

Within 12 months you will:

  • Develop affiliate and partnership marketing 12-18 month growth strategy
  • Successfully grow affiliate and partner acquisition volume, with a keen focus on customer quality, incrementally, marginal CAC, and payback period
  • Identify reporting improvements and collaborate with Data Analytics to prioritize projects
  • Make a meaningful improvements to overall growth marketing processes
  • Have developed strong cross-functional relationships, being viewed across the organization as a trusted leader

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3+years of experience in an affiliate marketing role; Prior experience in financial services or at a B2C brand is preferred; Agency experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills; experience with Tableau, Excel, and Google Sheets is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Growth mindset, a desire to learn, and seek creative solutions to problems
  • Previous experience leading process optimization & quality improvement efforts
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile marketing environment with prior start-up experience preferred
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to influence key stakeholders across the organization & navigated a matrix organization.
  • Strong communication skills
