OBJECTIVES:
- Serves as SharePoint, Office365, and Power Platform expert within Business Productivity Apps Service (BPAS) in order to support overall department strategy as defined by BPAS Lead within Digital & DevOps.
- Promotes correct usage of the Power Platform and Office365 as defined by governance and ALM strategy within Digital & DevOps.
- Serves as a point of contact for business and IT partners who have engaged BPAS internal build workstream
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Triages Project Requests and schedules development work for BPAS internal developers.
- Meets with local and global IT business partners to gather and understand requested project requirements
- Collaborates with other business domain, platform, and technical architects to ensure that solutions are both strategically and technologically aligned.
- Meets weekly with BPAS Lead to review requests and ongoing work
- Acts as a developer and administrator as needed in order to deliver low-code Office365 solutions in a timely manner
- Uses various analytical IT processes and independent judgment to develop innovative solutions, executes enhancements, and resolves technical challenges to deliver consistent quality services to IT solutions and platforms.
- Contributes to efforts in the technical planning, architecture development, and changes in specifications.
- Contribute to Takeda’s mission by leading the development and adoption of solutions that deliver business outcomes and drive innovation.
- Defines, documents, and communicates enterprise and domain specific process, application, and data standards within area(s) of responsibility.
- Using knowledge of business operations, explores and identifies areas for improvement.
- Follows all company and departmental policies, procedures and standards.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with business processes, systems, applications, data and services within area of responsibility
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain architectural concepts to lay audiences. Experienced in working with board level stakeholders and senior management.
- Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude
- Experienced cross-team leader to ensure successful delivery of solutions
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills - demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills
- Deep knowledge of application solutions in their domain areas.
- In-depth pharmaceutical industry and drug development experience is preferred
- Ability to write and speak in the English language
- Self-starter with a passion for taking ownership of your work and delivering outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, a team player with a 'winning as a team' attitude.
- Practice efficient time management and coordinates tasks, working in an international environment.
- 6+ years development & administrative experience with SharePoint & Office365
- 3+ years Power Platform development experience
- Power Automate
- Power Apps
- Power BI
- 2+ years Power Platform governance
- Experience leading a team of developers and analysts
- 5+ years admin experience in SharePoint & Office365
- Familiarity with InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, and Nintex Forms to support conversion of current workstreams into modern processes
- Experience explaining high level IT and governance concepts to business users
- Experience training end users on Office365, SharePoint, and Power Platform solutions in order to facilitate UAT and adoption
Preferred:
- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- Experience working in a life sciences environment.
- Familiarity with regulated systems and general level of understanding of quality systems validation.
