The Program Manager, Enrollment, will build the team that recruits, assesses, and converts applicants to join Lambda School. This role will work closely with the Admissions organization overall to improve how we use humans and technology in our current processes to identify the right students and admit them into school at scale. In the world of admissions, sales, or funnels, you’re a five-tool player. You understand how to interpret stages, data, and metrics to develop experiments that drive business improvements. You’re highly technical and love creating new systems and processes. You are a coach who loves helping people improve their conversion rates through creative tactics. You are goal-oriented and want to win. You deeply understand human behavior and motivation, both our prospective learners’ and your team’s. The primary focus of your role is to consistently and efficiently meet a monthly enrollment goal of qualified applicants starting Lambda School. You love people management and you support and develop your team to be successful because their success is yours. You're a cross-functional builder who is excited to use automation, communication tools, and personalized messaging to maximize the impact of human efforts. You enjoy technology and like to use CRM platforms, specifically the Salesforce ecosystem, to optimize for efficiency and success. What you'll do:
- Ensure that all incoming students are prepared for technical and professional success throughout Lambda School’s courses
- Support the team to meet and exceed metric goals
- Inform new enrollment operations strategy, including mix of inbound and outbound pipeline and event efforts
- Manage and coach a team of Enrollment Advisors who work directly with applicants via email, phones, and SMS to get them to Day 1 of Lambda School
- Work with cross-functional partners in Operations, Product, Engineering, Marketing and School to improve the applicant experience
- Resolve challenging escalations from Enrollment Advisors when necessary
- Uplevel sales systems by identifying new tools and serving as admin for technical aspects of existing key sales systems (Salesforce, Outreach, Event Platforms, etc.)
- Create and maintain documentation on enrollment processes (e.g., call lists, scripts, and applicant journey policies)
What you'll have:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, talent acquisition/recruiting or school admissions
- Experience working with and achieving against metric goals
- 1+ years of people management experience including hiring, training, developing and retaining teams
- Experience using systems (Salesforce, Excel, Outreach etc)
- Experience utilizing data to make decisions
- Experience using reporting to inform stakeholders and decision makers on progress
- Experience building scalable processes and policies to support organizational growth
- Experience working with ambiguity ideally in a start-up environment
