This requisition is for a Data Analyst Sr supporting the Functional Supplier Quality Organization in Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). The individual will:
Be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to develop immersive stories that answer business questions.
Use proven and sound statistical methods, the analyst draws insights from data, and translates those insights into action that drive business results.
Be resourceful and able to find novel new data sources to enrich their analysis. They apply mathematical and statistical methods to business and risk management problems.
Mine, process and summarize data.
Manage the quality assurance of data scraping, query databases for stakeholder requests and triage data issues for timely resolutions.
Analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and prepare insights in narrative or visual forms, including dash boards.
Set up and maintain data processes and new analytics capabilities.
Produce and track key performance indicators.
Have the ability to formulate functional and technical requirements from business problems.
Be responsible for program management of key tasks and resources to achieve cost and schedule and strategic growth initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant discipline (e.g., Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics)
Must be able to obtain a security clearance
Experience developing data visualizations that provide actionable insight
Experience using Tableau, RelM or other analytics toolsets
Excellent verbal / written communications skills
Self-starter with demonstrated self-initiated goals and results
Demonstrated capability to multitask in support of multiple concurrent programs and initiatives
Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment
Desired Skills:
Process Improvement experience
Experience with SAP, SAP HANA, VBA macros
Proficient with MS and / or Oracle SQL
Experience with data automation and reporting in a highly regulated environment
Understanding of business performance systems
Experience developing customer-facing analytics solutions utilizing complex data sets
Experience partnering with stakeholders and peers (e.g., data scientist, data engineers) to identify and solve a business problem
