About the job

As a Quantitative Marketing Analyst, you will help direct strategies for the Search Marketing team looking at the intersection of business objectives and marketing impact. You will drive analysis to provide valuable business insights that inform marketing programs. You will evaluate and measure the impact of marketing initiatives including integrated campaigns, growth efforts, and global partnerships. In this highly cross-functional role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of global marketing, product management, analytics, and engineering teams to tap into the underlying data, align on key metrics and methodologies, and generate insights to drive user growth.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities

  • Work with large, complex data sets across multiple products. Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems conducting analysis including data gathering and requirements specification, processing, and analysis.
  • Build and prototype analytics models to provide insights at scale based on a deep understanding of Google data structures and metrics, advocating for improvements in both, product development and business strategy.
  • Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of people and teams. Work closely with global marketing, product management, analytics, and engineers to identify opportunities for greater impact.
  • Make business recommendations (to senior executives, global marketers, product leads) with effective presentation of findings. Support, prioritize, and contribute on multiple key projects.
  • Execute with limited guidance and proactively take initiative to structure, analyze, and execute on work streams and projects.
