Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create partnerships with business leads and fellow UX team members to define requirements and success criteria for key initiatives
  • Lead workshops to design the structure and flow of business experiences that satisfy business expectations and goals in addition to consulting with the business on the content creation process and possible improvements
  • Mentor and train junior and mid-level UX team members on best practices and techniques in UX writing and Content Strategy
  • Independently develop user flows, wireframes, site maps, copy docs, templates and senior level content to establish best practices, organize information and aid in experience creation
  • Collaborate with visual designers, UX writers and UI engineers, from conceptualization to implementation, to ensure user needs are accounted for through each digital experience
  • Build and maintain content inventories, audit content for quality and performance, and create a governance strategy to review content on a regular basis
  • Ensure content and design align with established brand standards and guidelines for style, visual identity, voice and GM tone
  • Creating content templates / structure to aid in experience creation.
  • Conducting regular health checks on existing experience content
  • Conducting “Voice of the Customer” style research to better understand the audience they will be crafting content for
  • Present and communicate UX recommendations clearly to business stakeholders

Additional Job Description

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field (e.g. Communications, Journalism, English, Human Behavioral Sciences)
  • 6+ years professional experience in UX writing and content strategy role
  • Extensive experience working in the design process and partnering with UX designers
  • Advocate for best practices within the UX team
  • Experience writing for a global audience and in the automotive space
  • Experience writing and revising content, and sourcing and aggregating content
  • A portfolio of senior-level quality content solutions in highly dynamic environments
  • Experience developing content solutions for large enterprise web sites or applications
