What you’ll do

We are currently looking for a Contracts Specialist to join our Commercial Operations team on a full-time or part-time (4 days a week) basis to provide administrative and contracts support throughout Australia and New Zealand. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who is seeking to blend your experiences within contracts administration, tenders, and commercial services.

Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager, your responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Liaising with internal stakeholders to finalise tender bids for the Hospital channel, whilst ensuring compliance with pricing guidelines and processes
• Manage tender submissions and ongoing administration of Hospital contracts
• Liaising with our regional Finance team to resolve contract related claims and maintain pricing
• Ensuring our tenders are compliant with AstraZeneca guidelines through liaison with Legal
• Implementing measures for continuous process improvement with key internal and external stakeholders
• Preparing communication to customers regarding new products and changes to existing portfolio
• Managing the set-up and purchasing of new products with the wholesaler channel
• Supports the Commercial Operations Manager with ongoing operational support with the channel customers, to ensure the correct balance of supply and demand for the existing and new product portfolio

Essential for the role

• Has excellent communication skills
• Experience with contracts and tender submissions, preferably in Healthcare
• Good negotiation skills
• Strong commercial understanding of the channel servicing hospital and retail pharmacy
• Advanced Excel and comfortable with MS Office systems
• SAP experience in pricing maintenance and sales order to cash would be highly regarded

Desirable for the role

• Previous experience of working in the Pharmaceutical and/or Health Care industry in a multinational organisation.
