Charles Schwab Specialty Wealth Solutions (CWS) organization is accountable for meeting the Income needs of more than 20 million individual clients and 10 million RIAs with over $6 trillion in assets by providing Fixed Income, Annuity, and Insurance solutions. The organizations responsibilities include Sales, Service, Operations, Support, Strategy and Oversight.

As part of CWS, the Annuity Operations team is responsible for applications from the time they are submitted until the contract has been issued. Annuity Operations collaborates with and supports numerous business partners including CWS Sales and the Branch network to improve the overall client experience. What you are good at

• Providing superior customer service to clients and sales partners as you shepherd annuity applications from signature to contract issue
• Developing deep relationships within the firm; being an evangelist for the product line
• Goal setting / goal tracking / performance that drives meaningful results
• Excellent multi-tasking skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Staying highly motivated and being a self-starter
• Problem solving and collaborating with multiple levels in the organization

What you have

• BA/BS or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of corresponding work experience (previous annuity operations experience preferred, but not required)
• Strategic problem solver with the ability to obtain desired results
• Relationship building skills, including the ability to build consensus with key partners, work effectively in a cross-functional/highly matrixed organization
• Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple levels of the organization
• Problem solver vs. problem identifier
• Must possess effective time management & interpersonal skills, positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong work ethic with a high level of integrity
• An aptitude and willingness for learning Schwab’s annuity suite of products
• Demonstrated experience interacting with peers and other teams in a proactive and consultative manner
• Possess a collaborative work style with demonstrated success in a team environment
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to effectively mitigate risk and adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines
