We are currently seeking a new Marketing Operations Specialist to join our Marketing in Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto . This role is also available to candidates across Canada, excluding Quebec.

What your team does:

The Marketing Operations team orchestrates the technology, process, data/analysis, and automation that helps fuel the business’s growth and drives optimal customer experiences. We automate campaigns, workflows, and data governance; we analyze data to inform business decisions; we procure new marketing technology and integrate it into our stack; and we develop processes that scale.

Who you are:

You are a detail-oriented executor who has experience building marketing programs in a marketing automation platform. You excel at time management and prioritization, and every program is set up to report on marketing KPIs. You collaborate well with program owners to help inform timelines, scope and audiences.

Together with the rest of the Marketing Operations team, you’ll work to build an operational centre of excellence that supports a fast growing marketing team and business. The work you do will have an immediate and measurable impact on our team. You’ll be working with a team that values excellence, collaboration, and initiative. You will be supported with a full tech stack, learning and development opportunities, and the infrastructure of an outstanding team.

What you’ll work on:

  • Build scalable marketing programs, assets, and automations, including but not limited to emails, nurtures, webinars, events, landing pages, list processing/building, direct mail, and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Execute against project/campaign briefs and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot issues by auditing data and automation programs. Investigate Marketo notifications and sync issues.
  • Monitor the Marketing Operations team’s Slack channel for new work requests and answer questions about data, reporting, and programs. You'll take a leading role in triaging their requests and translating it into business requirements.
  • Build marketing campaign reports and email reports, as needed.
  • Ensure programs are set up for tracking in Salesforce, Looker, and Marketo.
  • Support the Manager of Marketing Operations, Senior Marketing Operations, and Senior Automations Operations Specialists on their initiatives, including but not limited to automations, technology, process, and data governance.
  • Build new marketing templates and standard operating procedures, and suggest improvements to existing ones.
  • Create and maintain MarOps-related documentation, handbooks, training, and folders.
  • Support team training on marketing tools, reports, and data.
  • Stay on top of new technology features and best practices, and share these learnings with the team.

What you may have:

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, UTMs, and marketing KPIs
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Experience using a marketing automation platform (MAP)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented

Serious bonus points if you are:

  • Marketo Certified Expert
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Have experience using a project management tool like Wrike or Asana
