DESCRIPTION

Amazon Global Security Operations Design, Device, and Technology (GSO-DDT) team is looking for an exceptional Program Manager to support documentation and work streams for sensitive and critical technologies and activities. This position will join a cadre of experienced and skilled program managers in managing security technologies globally.
GSO DDT is responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing Amazon Operations physical security infrastructure. As a Program Manager supporting the GSO DDT, you will use continuous improvement/change management to create, coordinate, and facilitate implementation of new and improved structures, processes, and activities. For this role you will need to be adaptable, challenge motivated and thrive on implementing high standard productivity and simplicity using standard project management methodology.
This position requires deep customer focus, strong self-motivation and exceptional project management skills. You will own policies and documentation across the organization and conduct yearly reviews of the documentation. It will involve regular communication with project sponsors and requires you to be detail-oriented and comfortable partnering with cross-functional business and technical teams. To be successful in this role, you need to pair strong analytical skills and a data-driven outlook with strong intuition.
You will own the completion of an array of projects and security initiatives/activities designed to protect your fellow Amazonians. You obsess over internal and external customers and successfully deliver support and services in a very high growth environment where priorities shift extremely fast. You are also independent and can manage program security projects under minimal supervision, continuously triage and prioritize accordingly, communicate clearly and compellingly and deliver exceptional products.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and review policies/documentation/workflows to ensure consistency, continuity, and process improvement
· Develop scalable change management plans to support the implementation of policy/SOP changes across all relevant channels
· Manage yearly internal auditing programs and processes
· Support development and implementation of continuous improvement projects
· Create framework to measure adoption and effectiveness
· Align program priorities and resources to the needs of the broader loss prevention community
· Meet regularly with Amazon internal service teams to develop effective methods for assuring timely delivery of contract commitments
· Develop a culture of continuous improvement and lean thinking
