Summary

Posted: Jul 30, 2021 Role Number: 200270869 •Lead and influence cross functional Engineering and Operations to drive qualifications •Work closely with Engineering and Operations teams to identify potential issues and provide mitigation plan •Leading Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations team in planning and executing builds •Influence Operations, Quality and Engineering teams with key decisions based on background of each qualification and drive cross-functional teams based on the priorities for timely execution of projects. •Lead all communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams.

Key Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, process engineering or product development
Results oriented and attention to detail.
Strong multidisciplinary and technical engineering background.
Impeccable interpersonal, multi-tasking and, management skills
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, and take on complex multidisciplinary issues
Ability to travel up to ~20-25%.
Prior CM/OEM/Vendor management experience.

Description

Description Post ramp qualification (PRQ) OPM owns the qualification of new components/modules/processes on iPhone by collaborating closely with engineering to establish timelines, benchmarks, and requirements for qualifying changes to shipping products. PRQs are pivotal to ensure best in class quality products are available to customers on time. A successful PRQ OPM is a leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail oriented; excels in program management; thrives in an ambiguous environment and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts. PRQ OPM needs to have technical background to be able to work with highly skilled system Engineering teams to identify risks, explore solutions, reach consensus and execute mitigations as quickly as possible.

Education & Experience

Education & Experience BS or MS degree in Industrial, Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering with 5-10+ years of industry experience.
