Kount has an opening for a Director, Growth Marketing in our Boise, Idaho office.
Job Summary : The Director of Growth Marketing, will be responsible for owning, developing and executing upon all demand generation marketing strategies that will lead into building pipeline, meeting monthly and quarterly goals, as well as working with Sales to achieve pipeline, bookings and revenue goals across all channels. The Director of Growth Marketing will also be expected to have the ability to guide and manage both internal and external resources.
The role of "marketing” often encompasses a number of critical functions within an organization. Kount is a fast-growing organization and we're looking for that rare individual who has solid marketing experience in a diversity of specific areas, with the strongest emphasis on pipeline generation and subsequent conversion into bookings and revenue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead and train a team of marketing professionals to achieve monthly and quarterly goals in leads, pipeline, bookings and revenue.
- Translate corporate objectives and strategies to develop growth and demand generation strategies and plans to facilitate growth.
- Develop knowledge of corporate strategy, fraud and identity SaaS market, Kount products, vertical markets, and sales objectives.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth and pipeline generation plan for the organization.
- Negotiate with external vendors to help accomplish corporate objectives while maintaining a high ROI.
- Make staffing and hiring decisions within marketing department.
- Build and develop a marketing team which is competent, commercially astute, dedicated and efficient.
- Participate in planning and presentation sessions, as needed.
- Work with the executive leadership to develop and maintain an appropriate budget for activities maintaining a high ROI
- Participate as a key team member on all product, promotional launch activities.
- Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, developments, and best practices in marketing communications and media delivery activity.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS :
- A minimum of 5 years in B2B marketing environment, preferably with payment systems or financial services.
- 7 years’ experience in B2B demand generation or similar area
- 4 years’ experience managing a team.
- Experience in creating a marketing budget and tracking expenses within budget.
- Experience with new media and internet advertising.
- Strong experience testing and revising online communications for optimum success.
- Able to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines, producing high-quality work and projecting a positive attitude.
- CRM experience, management and implementation desired, preferably Salesforce CRM.
- Event marketing experience desired.
- Teambuilding/interpersonal skills a must. This position will be required to interface with many different individuals & organizations.
- Strong organizational skills.
- BA in marketing. MBA preferred.
OTHER SKILLS :
- Strong leadership and consensus-building skills; marketing management and strategic planning experience; a proven track record in developing and administering a marketing program.
- Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well at all levels in the organization. Polished presentation and interpersonal skills. Must possess top-level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills. Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer applications.
